DJ SXXY SAUCE BIO LaSonia Erving aka DJ Sxxy Sauce, born and raised in Detroit MI. the home of Techno. Enjoying all genres of music she began performing, singing, dancing and theatre with various groups all over the Detroit metro area. Always finding time to listen and dance to house/ techno music while travelling all over the USA. By doing this, she became acquainted with likeminded people and DJ’S alike. This was the inspiration on becoming a DJ for over ten years and then boom, the opportunity presented itself and her DJ journey began. After meeting the legendary DJ Stacey “Hotwaxx” Hale, Detroit’s Godmother of House, becoming her assistant, working with her inspired her to become a DJ. She then registered to take a DJ 101 class with SPIN INC. founded by Juan Atkins & Ron Johnson aka DJ Jungle at the Detroit Institute of Music Education (DIME). Iit was then she realized that she really enjoyed this and DJ Sxxy Sauce was born. It had only been a dream hence making this was the right choice to do something she had only thought about but now was a reality. DJ Sxxy Sauce has elevated her skills and has continued building her brand over these last few years. Being an up-and-coming DJ Sxxy Sauce has had the pleasure to play at numerous events.
